Custom Upper Extremity Orthoses
Bracing to the fingers, hand, wrist, elbow and/or shoulder which includes; Wrist Hand Orthosis (WHO), Wrist-Hand- Finger Orthosis (WHFO), Hand Orthosis (HO), Elbow Orthosis (EO) and Shoulder Orthosis (SO). Bracing requirements depend upon which joint (s) is affected or injured.
Brace design depends upon the type of control or correction that is needed. These braces can be used for preventing contractures, immobilizing and positioning as well as assisting with daily activities. Some conditions that would benefit from finger, hand and/or wrist bracing includes arthritis, contracture management, carpal tunnel and stroke.
